St. Paul Welcomes New Employees
We wanted to take a moment to share some exciting news for St. Paul. We have accomplished our goal of hiring a Music Coordinator/Organist and a Choir Director. As you have seen today, our new Choir Director, Colt Ballou, has joined our staff. We hope that you will take a moment to welcome him to St. Paul. In addition to Colt, we have hired Maryann Mori as our Music Coordinator and organist. She will start around June 1st as she is moving to the area from Evansville, IN. Here is a little information about each of them:
Maryann Mori has over 20 years of experience in playing the organ at several churches in the Indiana area. She also plays the violin and piano and has coordinated music at other churches. A degreed librarian by trade, she will be looking for a full-time librarian position when she is settled. Her husband has accepted a position with the Drake University Music Department and they will be moving to Beaverdale in May. |

Colt Ballou is currently a Junior at Simpson College, majoring in Music Education. He is a member of the Simpson Choir and has studied conducting and choral techniques. He gives private piano and voice lessons and is a student accompanist for various events. He has also had experience with handbells. Colt will be student teaching this fall in Waukee and is looking forward to working with the youth in addition to our Adult Choir and Bell Choir.
